  • Workshop – ISO 26000 (self) assessment

Day Three: ISO 50001 and Energy Efficiency

  • Energy, energy sources
  • Understanding of the energy utilisation in the process

  • Alternatives and green energy sources on and offsite
  • Financial life cycle
  • Application of the energy efficiency in the facilities – HVAC, cooling, heating, lightning

  • ISO 50002 energy audit methodology
  • Environmental, social impact of the energy efficiency measures

  • ISO 14040 series standards, Life Cycle Assessment in oil and gas
  • ISO 14000 series, waste management standards, how to implement them in oil and gas
  • Practical implementation of the waste management and rational resource utilisation
  • Recycling and recycling principles with industrial examples from oil and gas
  • Workshop – LCA calculation for one O&G facility

Day Five: Water and Wastewater Treatment in Oil and Gas

  • Water sources and water treatment basics
  • Water Balance
  • Water as a main cooling medium in oil and gas industry
  • Water production processes and typical requirements
  • Wastewater treatment and facilities
  • Use of the produced water & water recycling
  • Recycle and reuse issues with the water; fate of the produced water
