Day Three: The Impact of the Ocean Environment on FLNG Topside Design

  • Hull configuration and key safety and technology issues
  • FLNG topside modular design and layout
  • Interfaces and interface management
  • Turret and swivel systems
  • SURF and subsea interfaces

Day Four: LNG Containment and Transfer System

  • LNG storage tank design
  • Storage tank insulation
  • Sloshing damage
  • Boil-off effects (roll over, density stratified liquid layers, natural convection within an LNG tank)
  • Storing other products (LPG, condensate, etc.)
  • Tank loading preparation
