Introduction

The Big Data Analytics in Smart City Planning course is designed to equip urban planners, engineers, and data professionals with the skills and knowledge to leverage big data analytics for the development and optimization of smart cities. Smart cities use data-driven approaches to enhance urban living through improved infrastructure, services, sustainability, and quality of life for their residents. This five-day course will cover the essential concepts of big data, its role in smart city planning, and the tools and technologies available to process, analyze, and apply data for urban development. Participants will explore how big data can be utilized for urban mobility, energy management, waste management, public safety, and citizen engagement in smart cities.

Course Objectives

By the end of this five-day course, participants will be able to:
