1) Course Introduction

This course provides technical knowledge of LNG regasification systems, vaporizers, seawater/air heating systems, and send-out gas operations.

In the operational design of this program, Seattle International Institute for Training integrates optimization practices, safety standards, and troubleshooting tools for terminal operators.

2) Key Learning Objectives

Participants will learn to:

  • Operate open rack vaporizers (ORV), SCVs & ambient vaporizers
  • Manage pressure control, send-out systems & line pack
  • Understand regasification thermodynamics
  • Optimize energy consumption & performance
  • Troubleshoot vaporizer & process upsets

3) Target Audience

  • Regasification plant operators
  • Process & mechanical engineers
  • Terminal supervisors
  • LNG import facility personnel

4) Course Importance & Business Impact

Optimized regasification improves send-out stability, reduces energy usage, and enhances overall terminal reliability.

5) Practical Modules / Key Topics

  • Regasification cycles
  • Vaporizer technologies
  • Pressure & flow control
  • Energy optimization
  • Troubleshooting
